Minutes of the 19th Meeting held at Sobha Mayflower Club House on 8.11.2009 at 7.30 PM

Members Present: Rtn. Vinod, Rtn. Ramki, Rtn. T V SRinivas, Rtn. Ganesh, Rtn. Rohit, Rtn. Srihari, Rtn. Bhartendu, Rtn. Jitesh, Rtn. Shrikant, Rtn. Ankit , Rtn. Hariprakash, Rtn. Manish, Rtn. Phaniraj, Rtn. Rama, Rtn. Sundeep, Rtn. Vinay & Rtn. Sunil. - 17/25.

Guests Present: Mr. Suresh & Mr. Samir Thakur

Meeting called to order: President Rtn. Vinod called the meeting to order and requested everyone to rise and observe a minutes silence for the world peace.

Welcome: President Rtn. Vinod welcomed all the rotarians present and guest Mr. Suresh & Mr. Samir.

Adoption of last meeting minutes: The minutes of last meeting was passed without any changes, it was proposed by Rtn. Ankit and seconded by Rtn. T V Srinivas.

Announcements: Secretary Rtn. Ramki informed that there are no anniversaries during the week but Rtn. Bhartendu celebrates his birthday on 9.11.2009.
He informed that our members from Sobha Jasmine are hosting a fellowship lunch on 15.11.2009. He also informed that the next ICGF is on 21.11.2009 at NIMHANS convention centre on International Services.

President's Time: Rtn. Vinod made a request to one and all to register for the upcoming ICGF and informed the floor that GOV is on 6.12.2009 and in this regard it has been decided by the board to release our Roster and second issue of E Patrika and requested everyone to cooperate and contribute. Rtn. Vinod requested guest Mr. Samir to introduce himself and Mr. Samir did introduce himself. Rtn. Vinod made a request to Rtn. TV Srinivas to introduce Mr. Suresh, the guest speaker for the meeting. Finally, Mr. Suresh was requested to address the gathering.

Guest Speakers Time: Mr. Suresh spoke on his field of activity, advertising and everyone had a very interactive session. After his presentation, Rtn. Vinod asked Rtn. Rama to handover a small gift to Mr. Suresh as token of appreciation.

Vote of Thanks: Rtn. Bhatendu was asked to give vote of thanks.

Sergeants Collections: Rtn Ankit reported a collectionof Rs. 670/-

Minutes of the 18th Meeting - 1.11.2009

Minutes of the 18th Meeting held at Sobha Mayflower Club House on 1.11.2009 at 7.30 PM

Members Present: Rtn. Vinod, Rtn. Ramki, Rtn. T V SRinivas, Rtn. Ganesh, Rtn. Anantha, Rtn. Srihari, Rtn. Bhartendu, Rtn. Jitesh, Rtn. Dhiraj, Rtn.Ankit & Rtn. Hariprakash.

Guest Present: Mr. Ashis Agarwal

Meeting called to order:President Rtn. Vinod called the meeting to order and requested everyone to rise and observe a minutes silence for the world peace.

Welcome: President Rtn. Vinod welcomed all the rotarians present and guest Mr. Asish Agarwal.

Announcements: Secretary Rtn. Ramki informed that there are no anniversaries or birthdays during the week.

Secretaries Report: Rtn. Ramki updated the members with the activities/events that happened over the week.

1. Our club had a joint meeting with Rotary Indira Nagar & Rotary Jeevanbima Nagar on 25th October at MRIVTI.
2. Rtn. Ramki along with few members of Rotary Indira nagar had a meeting with senior executives of SAP Labs to finalize the modalities of working with MRIVTI on providing computer education.
3. Rtn. Ramki attended the inauguration of comfort station at Seegarahalli school sponsored by Rotary Jeevanbima Nagar.
4. Rtn. Vinod, Rtn. T V Srinivas & Rtn. Ankit participated in the Golf Tournament organised by Rotray Bangalore Main.
5. Rtn. Ramki , Rtn. Ankit & Rtn. Vinod attended the launch party of Midnight marathon organised by Rotray IT Corridor.
6. Rtn. Manish, Rtn. Ganesh, Rtn. Srihari & Rtn. Anantha visited the adopted govt. school and conducted the supplementary classes for 6th & 7th class students.
7. Rtn. Ramki took our GSR Rtn. Badri to the adopted school.

President's Report: Rtn. Vinod updated on the cracker sale project and informed all that we are left with approx. 50 boxes of crackers and made a request to one and all to take 2 boxes each at our cost price and to close the crackers account with a net profit of Rs. 40,000/-, to which every one present agreed.
Rtn. Vinod made a request to the members from Sobha Jasmine to hold this month's fellowship meet at their club house hosted by them, Rtn. Bhartendu agreed to the proposal and informed that based on availabilty of the club house the date will be informed to one and all.
Rtn. Vinod informed the floor about the Governor's Official Visit to our club on 6th of December and made a request to one and all to block this date and make themselves available along with their family members. It was also decided to hold the GOV's meet at the club house of Sobha Mayflower instead of a star hotel.

Club Service Directors Report: Instead of Rtn. Hariprakash reporting on his avenue of services, it was his team member Rtn. Ganesh who elaborated on the experience of conducting supplementary education classes at the govt. school. It was also informed that they are on the verge of finalising a teacher who will be paid by our club for taking regular classes at the school. Rtn. Anantha informed that the focus should be teaching English to the children.

Rtn. Ganesh and others suggested to celebrate Children's Day on 14th of this month at the Govt. School for which he sought a clearance of Rs. 3000/- to Rs. 5,000/- from club, which the floor passed unanimously.

Guests Introduction: Rtn. Vinod requested Mr. Asish Agarwal to introduce himself to the floor, which he gladly did.
